Tensile and mechanical testing ensure that a materials strength, wider mechanical properties and hardness are appropriate for its function. This prevents defects that may lead to poor performance or cause critical faults in the future, for example buckling under pressure or losing a coating due to friction. LPD lab Services provides mechanical and tensile testing, for example:
